Comfrey Goo is already in testing, but current uses (and successes!) include the following:
--surgical scar softening/healing
--psoriasis
--eczema
--healing of scuffs/scratches
--extreme dry skin conditions
--pet use (including "hot spots", scuffed skin, skin conditions)
--rosacea
--burns
--bug bites and bee stings
The caution with Comfrey Goo is because it heals SO quickly, do not put it on an open wound (scabbed over is fine). If you put it on an open wound, it can actually heal an infection into you.
Lisa in NH had this to say:
I got my Raw Shea Comfry Goo. Wow...love the smell. After only 3 applications my 6 week old surgical scars were already softer. After several more applications the raised parts of the scars were a little flatter and didn’t look as angry. I use it 3 to 4 times a day, massaging it in. There isn’t any residue, the skin absorbs it all. This is great stuff! It has become a permanent part of my medicine cabinet.
Bangs and Bruises:
--reduce swelling
--reduce bruises
--reduce pain from bruising, sprains, etc.
--sprain treatment
Anni in NH had this to say: "Just wanted to thank you for the Bruise and Bang Hippie Goo. Couldn't have sent it at a better time!
That night I took a wicked fall on the ice in our driveway. Smash bang onto my knee, one that's seen a lot of hits over the years.
I was able to put some of the new Hippie Goo on about an hour or so after the fall and boy did it help. I ended up with only minor visible bruising and the Goo really helped it feel more comfortable, though it didn't take all the pain away. It did help with the swelling over night and the next day. The knee was a lot better the next morning than I had anticipated considering how much it hurt and swelled when I first fell.
So Kudo's for the Bruise and Bang formula!"
