Wed, 02/27/2008 - 14:29 — KatiYes, we make soap. We started making soap because my favorite handmade soapmaker retired on me, and after many years of handmade soap, I found I had developed a horrible skin sensitivity to commercial soap. And once you start with handmade soap, you never go back!
Current scents are available in our Etsy Shop.
Our soap is handmade lye-based cold-process soap, made in my kitchen, by hand, with a drinks mixer and the possibility of explosion! Generally made with olive oil, soy oil, lye, and shea butter.
What can I use Apothecary Goo for?

--surgical scar softening/healing
--psoriasis
--eczema
--healing of scuffs/scratches
--extreme dry skin conditions
--pet use (including "hot spots", scuffed skin, skin conditions)
--rosacea
--burns
--bug bites and bee stings
The caution with Comfrey Goo is because it heals SO quickly, do not put it on an open wound (scabbed over is fine). If you put it on an open wound, it can actually heal an infection into you.
